Local Attractions/ Food and Drink
Huntly is ideally located amongst the North East of Scotland’s many attractions. These include the popular Speyside Malt Whisky Trail which is home to half of the distilleries in Scotland, the Moray Coast Trail best known for its beautiful sandy beaches, and the Castle Trail which has more castles per acre than anywhere else in the UK.
Huntly Castle Aberdeenshire
Once the seat of one of the most powerful families in Scotland, Huntly Castle boasts what must surely be some of the most amazing heraldic architecture, as befitting the home of the previous Earls of Huntly. Now a towering, noble ruin, it sits in its own majestic setting just outside of Huntly on the banks of the river Deveron and only a 10-minute walk from the caravan park. There is plenty left to see and admire in this ruin.

Golf
With Scotland being the home of golf, it is no surprise there are 15 courses within a 30 minute drive of the park including Huntly’s very own 18 hole course which lies between the banks of the rivers Deveron and Bogie offering a picturesque and tranquil golf setting. It also offers a bar and restaurant for lunch and evening meals.
